    As requested, MTJ provided a peer review of the proposed multi-lane turbo roundabout located at North City Dr. & June Way in San Marcos, CA. The MTJ peer review included operational analysis, traffic planning, geometric review, and redesign services.

    To address multi-modal safety, mobility, and vehicular performance, the city of Edgewater retained MTJ to evaluate the feasibility of a compact, mini-style roundabout at this commercial, highly constrained intersection.

  • Ravensworth Rd. / Fountain Head Dr. / Jayhawk St. Annandale, VA: FHWA Modular Mini-Roundabout Pilot Program

    The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) began a pilot program to examine a new modular approach to construct mini roundabouts that use prefabricated materials, like raised islands made from engineered plastic developed from recycled plastic bottles, which allowed for ease of installation at a lower cost.

    The City of Cleveland launched a rehabilitation project for Franklin Blvd. that included a series of 7 mini-roundabouts to promote traffic-calming along the corridor.
