MTJ Roundabout Engineering performed a peer review for a roundabout at the Seldon Rd. and Lucille St. in Wasilla, AK that is opening soon. MTJ’s peer review and optimization process included operational analysis and geometric modifications to improve pedestrian and vehicular safety, driver expectancy and large freight movements. The roundabout will also be more intuitive for all modes, ensuring ease of operations and increased public acceptance.
MTJ Roundabout Engineering designed solutions for two complex, constrained intersections. Roundabouts in Waunakee and Brookfield, WI will be opening soon!

Construction of the multi-lane roundabout located at the intersection of Main Street and Century Avenue in Waunakee is nearing completion and will be ready for traffic soon.
The Village of Waunakee and WIDOT were seeking a solution to reduce congestion and improve safety and traffic flow. A feasibility study showed a flared entry roundabout would increase traffic flow efficiency, and improve safety for all modes. MTJ Roundabout Engineering played an integral part in the successful public outreach effort by WIDOT and the Village of Waunakee.

UPDATE – Opened August 11th. Construction of the single-lane roundabout located at the intersection of CTH M (North Ave.) and Brookfield Rd. is also nearing completion.
The all-way stop intersection had reached its capacity, and many accident issues could be resolved by an updated intersection design. Waukesha County selected a single-lane roundabout as the solution. MTJ Roundabout Engineering teamed with One Source Consulting to provide the analysis and design for this new roundabout.
