Mr Johnson was the roundabout engineer responsible for these roundabout designs along this developing urban corridor. This arterial roadway provides excellent capacity with a two-lane access controlled roadway design. The roundabouts opened in 2006.

The city of Mt. Horeb was so excited about this initial design that they later commissioned 4 more roundabouts along the same corridor.
